To guard against the unauthorized use of your contractors license number, a registration confirmation letter will be mailed to your business address on file with the Contractors State License Board which may differ from the "Applicant Address" you input above. This letter will contain a password that you can use to access the system for the first time and then change your password to a confidential password. Unfortunately, this means you must wait to receive this letter before you can use the e-Permit System for the first time to obtain Express Permit(s). To speed up this process, you can visit any LADBS branch office to obtain the password after providing proper identification that you are the holder of the contractors license or an authorized agent.
